Hello, my name is Michael Rutherford, the owner of Dependable Auto Care LLC. I have been working in the mechanical field for over 20 years. I started out changing tires and learning the basics of automotive service. As I gained experience, I moved to another shop where I began working on brakes and suspension, including lifts and lowering kits.
Even though that shop taught me a lot, I wanted to continue learning and expanding my mechanical knowledge. I joined the Navy Seabees and became a diesel mechanic, where I have served for 19 years and am now approaching retirement.
My time in the Navy helped me develop strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the discipline required to maintain equipment in demanding conditions. I wanted to take the experience and skills I gained from both my military service and prior automotive work and use them to help the people around me keep their vehicles safe and reliable.
That is why I started Dependable Auto Care LLC. My goal is to provide honest, dependable service to the community, whether it’s routine maintenance like oil changes and general upkeep, or more in-depth mechanical repairs. I take pride in making sure every job is done right and that customers understand the work being performed on their vehicles.
